| Keegan Golf was
founded in 1988 when John started his career as a Golf Professional.
The company started as an on-course golf shop at Morris Country Club.
Throughout the past 20 years the company has evolved to incorporate many
areas of the game of golf. It’s easy to see why our motto is “It’s More
than Just a Game”. The golf shop has become known for it’s high quality merchandise, competitive pricing, and friendly knowledgeable staff. One word typically describes our Golf Shop… VALUE. We remain committed to offering our customers the most for their money. Our mission remains the same as the first day we opened the doors… To promote and elevate the game of golf with incomparable service and unparalleled creativity. We strive to exceed the expectations of our members and customers and always set the bar higher. Other areas where the company strives to offer the best services are as follows: Merchandising: Our golf shop has been nominated for the Illinois PGA Merchandiser of the Year Award numerous times. The merchandise carried by the golf shop is always current and offers the finest lines including Tommy Bahama, Polo, LaCoste and Greg Norman apparel lines and Ping, Callaway, Mizuno, Taylormade, Cleveland, Titleist, Nike, Cobra and Nickent club lines. Many special events are offered including an annual Demo-Day, a tent sale, and numerous opportunities at discounted merchandise. Golf Instruction: Through our “DNA Golf Academy” we offer unparalleled instruction to golfers of all abilities. Private/Individual, semi-private and group lessons are available, as well as many classes and clinics. Junior Golf: Our award winning junior programs leave no stone unturned. We offer programs for 5-6 year olds, 7-13 year olds and high school players. Winter Lessons: Why winter lessons? The students who have been taking instruction in the winter have been improving twice as fast as those taking only spring/summer lessons. 1. Make lasting changes – focus on drills not score 2. Repetition leads to muscle memory 3. The golf course (game) doesn’t get in the way of improvement Club Fitting: A good golf instructor knows the value of fitted golf equipment. John is certified by more than 5 major club manufacturers and recognized as an expert fitter. Our golf shop equipment includes a Mitchell Bending Machine, a Mitchell Frequency Analyzer, a Vector Launch Monitor, plus other cutting edge technological advances to help you play better golf. Corporate Clinics: A growing segment of our golf instruction offerings include corporate golf clinics. We offer clinics ranging from 2-4 hours for you to entertain your clients or employees! Corporate Identity/Embroidery: We offer a complete corporate branding process that includes logo development as well as products to identify and separate your business from your competition. Our relationships with top golf companies allow us to provide you with great embroidered and imprinted items for much less than a typical “specialty company”. Marketing/Consulting: Due to our extensive experience in the golf business world, we have contracted out to aid many companies help their business grow. Our client list continues to expand as we add new ways to help your business become more profitable.
